Would be a shame if more rumors begin to circulate about Golden to Denver... I really hope nobody taints this young man's recruiting process. I'd hate to see it.

The witticism in this thread while clearly distracting has a lot of fair points. There is this assumption that everyone does everything only for the maximum amount of money. Sure that is an element and as a former CPA I would ananlyze everything including tax implications.
However I am sure just as for some other professional athletes and even every day people other things come into play. The coach/boss, your potential teammates/co workers , the location, the facilities, the weather and on and on. Any one of these could sway a person especially when money is close.
I am sure we all have had decisions in our own life’s where this has come into play.
As for Golden, I am not looking to slander the guy and the accusations against him where said to be without merit. I also have no idea what the potential interest on both sides are in the Denver opening but it’s not a stretch to say it’s conceivable. While there are no guarantees in life this could be a factor in a players decision.
