Alabama (MSG), Sat., Nov. 8, 12 Noon, FS-1/ 1050 AM

Absolutely a great game. Exciting til the end.
We will not see a team this year with guards that quick.
They outrebounded us because long shots create long rebounds and Rick stressed the guards get on the boards.
Better foul shooting will help to put a smile on your face.
After today I absolutely think we win the Big East. There is no Big East team that could have hung with Bama.
Alabama may have the best guards we'll face all season.

Long 3s lead to long offensive rebounds. I’m curious to know how many of their offensive rebounds came from missed 3s. So many extended possessions where our D was out of position after trying to get the rebound which led to an easy layup or open 3. Gotta box out better! Guards included!

Also maybe I'm crazy. But from everything I've seen so far, St. Johns is going to destroy the rest of the Big East. The only games I could see them losing is both Uconn games and the game at Creighton.
They'll probably get stung somewhere else too, like at Villanova last year.

Georgetown obviously looks much stronger so far, but I'm expecting a road loss to a Big East team we are better than, at some point. It happens to most good teams.

As long as it only happens once.

Haven’t read anything yet… man that hurt.

Going from the Euphoric Feeling at the 8 min mark you only get when the Garden Erupts… to really not even being in the game… so unsettling.

Our guards got smacked in the mouth… hopefully a loss like this - this early- is what we needed.

Not gonna lie… takes a bit of buzz outta the next 2… and more emphasis on the Iowa St game in Vegas.

Gotta go atleast 3-2 over the Big Time games to be taken seriously. We will. Sucky loss.

Is that Boo in the background? If so, see if he has any eligibility left. We need a true NYC point guard to dance this mess around.

I am sorry to all. I thought Ian was the one. You guys were correct all along. He’s not a PG. He still may come good as a 2.

Besides Zuby, no one is a first round pick.
RJ is that cautionary tale. My father was correct too: stay in school and learn from CRP.

I’m sorry again. I just saw the photo of David Cain, Boo and Panther. Blessings to three legends.

You are a stand up guy Ralph

I was frustrated with the last few minutes of the game, but some of you should go back and see your comments on Kadary early on last year.
Yeah they need to play better on both ends but there is so much promise in these guards.
Maybe no pure point other than Darling but it’s not even thanksgiving.
We are building for March/April.
