16 games left. At some point we have to string some wins together if we hope to hold onto this playoff spot. Peterson vs Luzardo tonight. Desperately need one of Peterson's better outings, but he has struggled of late

Tonight is probably the night Luzardo becomes Sandy Koufax.
I'm still positive. We are just a wild card contender right now with the chance to be much better if our pitching can get it going.
Still completely baffled that my guy Vientos isn't hitting #2 and Baty isn't hitting #9 by now. Stop trying to crowbar speed in the 9 spot. It's way too valuable of a place to hit in front of Lindor to waste it with a .200 hitter.

I’m kinda past the point of caring anymore but Mendoza is just shuffling basically the same lineup out there tonight he has been this entire series. Oh yeah, Senger is in instead of Alvy. Go get em, tiger!

Agreed - maybe Nimmo and McNeil should be 1-2, and put your best hitter in the 3 slot (Lindor). You can put Soto/Pete in 4/5 (starting pitcher dependent) and back them up with Marte/Vientos.

This team making the playoffs would be a pleasant surprise at this point, I’ve made my peace with that.
I don’t have SNY on my phone so I don’t watch the games. I work in an office until 9:30 every night which is basically the only reason I follow along.

I'm at a nihilist point where I find myself naturally rooting for deGrom to do well.
Make the playoffs and hope there is even a 1% chance we capture lightning in a bottle
