Season Tickets

New here! Bought season tickets for the first time and this week was my seat selection for MSG. What's the process like after paying for your seat?
As we get closer to the season, the digital tickets will just be uploaded into your Johnnies account. Now you just happily pay every month until that time (if you paid on a monthly basis).

I still have love for 108 but moved over to 107 within range of a few other former 108s.
Stayed in 108 but 1 row back. I'm curious as to what happened to some of the people immedidately sround me. I don't know for sure of course, but I suspect there wasn't much in the way of donations beside the mandatory ones. Theoretically, those were the types of fans that this whole process wanted to move in favor of larger donors. I could be dead wrong about their donation levels though so we'll see soon enough.

I loved my seats in 107 but moved down 5 rows plus on the aisle in 108. I sat next to our user Muse until he passed. He was such a knowledgeable and well mannered gentleman that if he were still here, I'd have stayed put. Wrestled with mid row seats dead center court in 107 but chose the convenience of the aisle.

There’s a lot of Redfans in 107. We will all be fine. We will make new friends and visit our old friends. I’m sure by next year the process will improve.

I lost my Aisle seats in 108 and for the first time since I became a Season Ticket Holder in 1985, I no longer have aisle seats at MSG. 😡😡

So .... everyone got a seat and most folks were relatively satisfied with where they landed?
I think, as you predicted and the seating charts dictated, this is the word I hear from people. I do wonder considering how minor most (key word I suppose) shifting was how many people who did not give out of the goodness of their hearts but out of fear feel about that part. As people talk to each other it's clear that for the vast majority of existing season ticket holders it was not needed. The other talk out there is the school generated themselves a lot of money doing this, so I'm betting they are more than relatively satisfied.

With Pitino here and the team riding high I'm not saying there is any backlash coming real soon but the pressure for the school to deliver a top team annually increased with this move. With the current environment within the sport not much choice, so here we are.

The Sheik got body slammed, I just bought my tixx and all the good seats and my old section (116) was sold out so I am now stuck in Section 225 second row but thought the pricing was more than fair so I am not that upset.

Is there going to be an open practice and/or a team scrimmage for season ticket holders?
Last year Flat Top did a private MSG practice based on whatever donor level. The year before Red Storm Marketing did one at CA. Not sure if anything is planned yet

Incredible. Let this lay to rest the idea of ever needing to play any non-cupcake at Carnesseca Arena. You only do that if your team stinks.

I got sent the email to buy tickets and looked at the seats available. I counted up the amount of tickets in each section (they tell you when you hover over the section, I did not count each seat, lol). Only 700 seats left.

That includes six center court sections in the 200s, which have the lowest amounts. Aside from those neighboring 200 sections, I would presume there's full sections in the 100s also unavailable since they'd want some to go to students and the market. But still, what a feat.

I checked the virtual seat chart yesterday that was in the email, I couldn't believe that there were so little amount of seats left. My daughter wound up getting 2 in the lower level just above the risers. Lower bowl middle sections were gone and very few in the upper level middle. As much as i hayed to have to move at MSG, seems like the AD got what he wanted, more season ticket holders.
