Hard pass on Dug. Again, Pitino and staff know more than us but I'm sure they've scoured the country for a true PG.

I need to check the latest transfer portal full list. There's got to be several heady PG candidates on there that would fit the bill for what this team needs.

I would love a veteran college PG and Lewis.

Even if we are lucky enough to land Lewis, there is NO WAY Pitino is handing the keys (to this turbo roster) over to a freshman. No way.

Dug is not worth it. Guy has been one two of the biggest busts of college basketball teams the last two years. And we're putting our national titles hopes in his hands? No effing way.

I don't love McDaniel either. However, the kid went for 11 points/5 assists/3 rebounds last year. His 3-point shooting percentage was off his career average, but he can shoot it. I am not advocating for Dug, but he is no slouch.

I didn’t watch Kansas State this year at all. Not sure what happened and how they fell from grace two years ago when Tang seemed like a hotshot coach.

If there is a PG out there averaging 4 apg I’m interested. Especially an upper classmen. Many personally I would prefer over him but as of today pickings be slim.

Tang caught lightning in a bottle in year 1 and his last two years are closer to what he actually is probably.

On the surface, an experienced pass first PG like Dug is exactly what we need. But again, he has the ability to singlehandedly implode this team come January or February and isn't good enough to take on that type of risk imo

Sanon, Hopkins, Sellers, Jackson is an insane portal haul. A bit perplexed that PG seems to be difficult, but make no mistake we are crushing so far.

Get me Acaden Lewis and I’m riding with that freshman provided we have somebody else to split duties. Kid is good and can be great. He will need more than one season to pick up this defensive bear of an assignment.

Would not shock me if we get both Acaden Lewis and a TBD starting PG, with the plan to be Lewis taking over in ‘26. Don’t think this late in the game Lewis is expecting to start at a high major in ‘25.

Pitino has no talent to evaluate guards.
All he was able to recruit for Iona were chumps like Walter Clayton Jr., Daniss Jenkins and some kid named Cruz Davis.
None of them even started on other D1 teams.
We'll be lucky to land a 1 star player.

Not to mention his time at Louisville with guards like terry rozier, Donavan Mitchell, peyton siva and only one all American with russ smith. Something has to change

IMO, having all the talent we have on the floor for our starting 4 who can create their own shots, makes the point guard position easier. So having Lewis makes sense to me. As MCNPA stated, kid is good!

It's close. He's been super ball dominant at both programs he's been at. Takes a lot of shots, but was also 64th in the country in Assist rate this past season, ahead of what Kadary was.

BTW, RJ Luis had ONE bad game to end the season.
Ian Jackson had FIVE.
IMO was not going to start next season at UNC.
I'm 50/50 on his role and influence if he commits.
Does not share the ball willingly is my impression......even less than RJ.
Need that PG!

Amped about Ian's imminent commitment, would have loved Lee but my hopes weren't to high on him coming....at this point In Pitino Matt A and Repole I Trust....we WILL get someone at point and a couple more championship pieces...doesn't mean starters but quality depth
