Forgive me if this has been addressed with a conclusion: I know Pettiford has portaled AND he is in the draft evaluation process.Pitino will sign a point guard worthy of major minutes depending on the opponent.

Seems likely to go back to Auburn. He said in an interview that if he returns to college it will be at Aurburn. But you never know what can happen nowadays…

Seems like the most likely scenario at this point is we see a backcourt of Sim/Ian with a backup PG for depth - hopefully Lewis or maybe someone else. I’m hopeful, but I think it will be hard to lure a big enough PG into the portal that Rick would start over year 3 Sim. But as always, #TrustRick

I wonder if boogie is a realistic possibility I mean Boogie and Jackson rocking the garden just seems right!
If Sim is the primary PG, we will have issues. I still think CRP has been working on a backup PG contingency that he can induce into the portal before the window closes.
Please stop with the Boogie stuff. Never any indication that it is happening or would ever happen.
Ian and Boogie are friends, but he already declined to out of HS + always seemed to not want to play in NY. But who knows.
There aren't that many options left. It's like talking about quality QBs. Not easy to find.

Yeah I agree it’s not the ideal situation, but seems like the most likely at this point. Hopefully Lewis is on board and we can hope that he can provide a big impact by the end of the year. Lewis liking Seller’s commitment post on IG seems like a good sign..

Sim and Ian are not PGs. They have shown nothing to be a lead guard in their combined 3 years of play.
To build such an awesome team of 2-5 but have such a hole at PG is odd. I’m all for Lewis. He looks great. But I’d also take any mid major PG bandied about over the idea of Sim and Ian running the show.

Makes sense for Lee imo. Here he would have had to be a distributor first. At Florida he gets to slide in to the WCJ role of do it all PG which is what he was at Princeton. I think he was the best of the realistic options at PG for us but have some reservations as to fit and how his game will translate to higher levels.
