Being from Raleigh does not automatically make you an NC State fan. NC State, Duke, and UNC are all within 25 miles of each other, and as you walk around Raleigh you are more likely to find fans of Duke and UNC

Maybe not but probably has family there if he's interested in going back home and Duke and NC don't want him. Hopefully we prevail if that is who Pitino is targeting.

I went to high school in Raleigh, just a few minutes from NC State, and the number of Duke or UNC fans to State fans wasn't even close. Personally I rooted for Duke and disliked UNC, but didn't really care about State either way.

A lot of our class ultimately ended up attending State (much easier to get into- I got in but went elsewhere), but regardless I'd bet Silas wasn't a fan of State growing up.

Family situation though could of course play a large part.

1) Happy for Moe. He landed with a coach who's an undersized PG to help his growth. This is a case of a kid taking a but less money(no SJ never offered) to be in a good spot...against my advise :)
2) SJ is the topic of conversation of almost EVERY call/text I get. So many rumors going around ...things will happen for them and at a good pace...they are looking good
3) Elliot....ok this one is hard. I had heard from a VERY reliable source SJ had no interest. Great kid and really good pg but smallish and not an elite shooter. Now I got 3 diff texts asking if Matt is snooping around him. Truth is I don't know. My guess would be either his camp generating interest or just some ppl yapping...but if the staff did a turn around on him I don't know about it...maybe Rick left me off the text chain :). I would be VERY surprised but lets see.

Is there any way we can mutually agree to hold off posting every kid from Bumblef*** State with a 20 team list just because it includes us? At least until there's some glimmer of confirmation that we're interested? (This is not directed at you mkras, this is a general suggestion, there have been a bunch of these).

Maybe we stick those on the other portal thread until it heats up on our end? Just throwing it out there. We're recruiting big time guys from big time conferences, I highly doubt some kid who averaged 15 a game at Quinnipiac or whatever is on our radar, despite his reps trying to make it seem like we're interested.

Feel free to start another thread - maybe call it the SJU Portal Targets Approved by tnice Thread or something like that? Or just skip the posts re: kids with too many schools listed.
