that should not have been that hard, but i guess we should expect nothing else at this point. was hoping for a blow out to give the guys some rest, but after the way they played today i'm sure rick will have them working this week.
liked seeing brady talking to sim after rick yanked him. he has so much talent and could be a really good player, but he just needs to learn discipline and patience.

Much needed week off to heal up now really need to get Scott back healthy you saw today how much he means to us.

A few things
- they are our rivals. They know each other. This was never gonna be easy. Holloway too much of a competitor to just roll over at Garden.
- Wusu. Obviously had this game circled on calendar. Even though most of the guys he played with are gone, this has to hurt a bit.
- all the press the last week. Cmon. Can’t be kicking dirt on a team’s grave before they’re at the cemetery. I wasn’t wild about all the talk of net cutting and 40-year droughts.
- relaxing on our part. I think we had it so in our heads this was a coronation of sorts, we forgot we had to win first. We were still messing around with extra passes, hero ball dribbling and lazy defense well into the 2nd half which…isn’t us.
- no Scott. Hyperextended knee and bad hammy. He centers us, he’s our “spiritual” leader in terms of what Pitino wants. If he’s out or compromised the rest of the way…whoo boy. I don’t like that.
Hey…BIG EAST CHAMPS. 1st time since I was 8. I’m still a little jacked and have to breathe a bit but I’ll enjoy it a bit more later.

Congrats everyone. To the long timers that have stuck with it through watching a respected program degrade before their eyes to the mid 30s guys like me who have essentially known nothing but misery with this program

We did play well enough to rest Scott and we did WIN!

Scott (knee, hammy), RJ (groin), Kadary (you name it) and Dev (shoulder) have been nursing injuries. The week off could not come at a better time. Not the blowout Vegas expected but who gives a crap.
This team has amassed enough cache for the peanut gallery to be concerned about uneven performances. Congrats to the program for an outright Big East regular season title. Kudos

Wasn't pretty but dayum it feels good to say Big East Champs....Scott absence shows how important he is.. Ayo did some good things on offense but he is not Scott. Think we were too concentrated on show time early that it led to t.o's and out of sync....SH played tough. Man I hope RJ comes back to team with Zuby and whatever magic Repole can add...rest up beat Marquette...
