@Villanova, Wed., Feb. 12 , 6p, FS-1

Few points regarding this game...Villanova played yesterday, shot 50% from the floor and 50% from three...because Xavier's defense was HORRIFIC. The 2nd half was matador defense or non existent. Dixon had two points at the break and then had 22 in the 2nd half. They left guys wide open all day. That shouldn't happen with St. John's defensive principals. My first point is that they played yesterday. They'll have two days to get ready for St. John's, while SJU last played on Friday. Saturday was an off-day and so while Nova was playing yesterday afternoon, Johnnies were already in the gym getting ready.

And...Kyle Neptune vs Rick Pitino....advantage us.
No doubt, just focus and execute on the road while taking them seriously.

Not going to be an easy game. Spread will be within a bucket. Even though we beat them by 12 it was a 1 point game with 2:30 left and that was at home.

Villanova is the only Big East team to score more than 1 point per possession on us all season. Brickus and Dixon made their shots and nobody was able to keep Poplar in front of them.

We shot 39 FTs last game to their 17. Might not be as stark a difference on the road this time.

Nova shoots 3s well. Makes them dangerous. But they are not deep and tend to wear down at end of games.
Dixon will get his, but he’s going to need 30 shots to do it.

Our guys are on a mission and will be ready for this game.

Another Trap Game. Top 10 ranking and rematch with our only loss this weekend.

I think we matchup very well against Nova but it is still Nova at Home.

Al LoBalbo - 71
Show Him the Ring Rollie - 66
There's no such thing as a trap game.

Not for sju atleast.

Rick has them real focused

Was amazed at how poor X played defensively

hopefully Glover will give them a few decent minutes at both ends.

The old DRE (digital rectal exam), the last time, dropped trow, when I went to pull the pants up again, the wallet had fallen out onto the floor near the table i leaned on. I swear, the doctor who has a sense of humor, says to me when he sees the wallet, "I thought that was my tip!"

That is what rooting for Yukon is like.
Is that the clinical version of dropping the soap in the prison shower? Rooting for UConn is that distasteful, huh? I would like to see both C's make the field. I don't know which will need the win more.

Dixon's drive down the left side of the lane was defended just like a matador waving his cape-not even an attempt to stop or stay with him.
